About

Novaboard is a free pixel art and animation studio that runs in the browser: one infinite workspace for all your pixel art, with animation, layer effects, and import/export for .ase (Aseprite), .psd, .ora, .piskel and more.

It has grown organically to ~18k monthly unique visitors, with a 16% bounce rate and an average session of over 4 minutes. Weekly visitors went from under 1k to nearly 5k between June and August 2026, with no paid marketing. Each week, ~1,300 people open the editor and ~500 of them draw in it. Built with Svelte 5.
